Joan first picked up a fly rod in 1937 and has been a leading figure within the sport ever since. She has paved the way for aspiring anglers and set an example as an instructor and leader within the sport. Thank you for being part of this movement, Joan. Stu AptEFrom sea to sky, Stu Apte was a pilot for Pan Am as well as a world-renowned fishing guide and leader within the sport.
Stu helped to pioneer saltwater fly fishing as he set out to catch massive Sailfish and Tarpon on light tippet. We are honored to have Hall of Famer Stu Apte serving on our Honorary Board for Fish for Change and thankful for his mentorship! |
